When you come for a Journey session we sit down together in a private space for a quiet chat so that we can get to know each other. When you feel relaxed and completely ready to start, you close your eyes and I'll begin to talk you through your own inner Journey of discovery.
During the Journey, I help you uncover the unconscious ‘cell memories' that affect your life. These might have led to a disease process or to pain, unhappiness, depression, guilt, anger or grief, etc.
Throughout the session, you won't have to go anywhere that feels unsafe to you. And the good news is that during a Journey, you can't fail! Whether your memory comes up as a scene from your life, an emotion, some words, or in some other way, your body will send you the indicator you need.
Once you have recovered the cell memory, I guide you through a wonderful process that cleanses and heals. First we set up a ‘campfire' of unconditional love and eternal silence. We invite whichever younger version of you it is that most needs to talk about the issue to come to the ‘campfire'. We also make sure that the ‘little' you has someone they can really trust with them, both to help and protect you.
Then, in the campfire space of unconditional love and respect for the younger you, there will be the chance to totally clear out everything that was not said at the time. You get given every inner resource you would most have liked to have at the time, and we reprogram cells by replaying the scene in a new and healthy way.
At the end of our session I'll give you some advice about how best to nurture yourself, bearing in mind that you have already begun healing at the most exciting, profound level. In my experience, when people begin to clear out the rubbish that has obscured their lives, much begins to fall into place. If you later choose to do more Journeys, unpeeling the onion layers (a metaphor I have borrowed from my homoeopathic training) you discover increased freedom in your life and greater happiness and creativity. Events start working out in a way that honours your true self. And your health improves immeasurably.
As Journey founder Brandon Bays says, ‘The Journey is not a sticking plaster.' The feelings have to be felt, to be released. This can be a very powerful experience in itself. I find that, quite literally, the more you feel, the more you heal.
So when thinking about whether to do a Journey, ask yourself this question: ‘What have I got to lose except pain?'
Once people have done a Journey, some feel that everything has been sorted out. After one session with me, they find they no longer have that weight problem, that fear of flying, the allergy which was getting them down, or the residual grief which just wouldn't go away after the death of a loved one. Others of us feel drawn to keep diving deeper and deeper into this very magical, wonderful work. If you are like me, you will feel excited by it, enthralled by it, and greedy for more!
Whichever kind of person you are, I welcome you. |
